Before I really had the website up and running, I did a lot of little doodles for Forest of Doors.

Goblins have a poison resist. They also typically like packaged and processed foods.

Some questions that used to run through my mind before I went plot side.

Fairies are monkeys?

Just did some artwork for Forest of Doors, a LARP.

Less than a month left until both LARPs, omg omg omg!

o_O I hope to go to Portals.  I reeeeeally do.

I completely blame the internet for this one. I was surfing the web last night/this morning and came across some Muppet Show exerts that made me smile. And when a fairy smiles something completely insane occurs. We all know that. So here is the insanity that has been brought about by this.

Oh, and I also wanted to do a special Forest of Doors colored comic since I had done one for Portals. Gotta share the love. And Forest of Doors is pretty much f*@$ing whimsy, so, yeah!

This is one of the “Big Bads” in Forest of Doors. He’s a sin eater. Uh . . . in simple terms, a Sin Eater is a Hungry Ghost aka Zombie that has eaten thousands of his own kind. He’s become stronger through devouring them. He’s really powerful . . .

And a group of us . . . were sort of silly enough to try and hide from him. Though I have to say, Tyrsia (pinkie) did get her verbals off very quickly. A pity hiding didn’t work.

Cultures? Races? Doom!

So when doing a ritual that involves fairies, be very careful. Or you might end up harming one of Nature’s most . . . special creatures?

I think that says enough.

If you know the context, great! If you don’t . . . use your imagination.

So this is a comic based on a thread at the Forest of Doors forum. When I’m not drawing the Unhappy Monkey comic with Chas Kelley, I’ll be trying to work on the LARP comics. So keep an eye open. I’m updating every week day. That’s the goal!

Oh, and I figured this would be one of the fairies favorite songs:

“If all the raindrops

If this previous weekend had been like that, it might have been more pleasant. (Well, for some of us. MUHAHAHAHA!)

Non-LARPer’s aren’t going to understand this one, but trust me when I say “Start worrying.” Nothing good can come from a LARP staff member asking for more of this kind of costuming.

For some reason, when I was drawing this comic, I was just imagining the scene where Jack (from Nightmare Before Christmas) is dancing around the Christmas land going “What’s this?” Just with fairies and the Forest of Doors instead. Much more annoying and frightening.

And for those not involved in Forest of Doors, I’d just like to state that the Sin Eater is a very, very bad creature that will eat your soul up and spit it out like a toothpick. He’s not the type of thing your character would want to run into in a dark place anywhere.
